Aims Soccer Academy Claims Top Spot After Victory over Mfantseman United.

Aims Soccer Academy defeated Mfantseman United by a goal to nil at Ajumako Brofoyedur School Park on Sunday 18th July,2021 to move them to the summit of Mfantseman District Division 3 League table.

Aims started the game in a very fashionable style with their usual possession and quick passes.

Few minutes into the game Aims took the lead through a powerful strike from Nani which beat the Mfantseman United’s goalkeeper.

They could have doubled their lead before the break but lack of communication and indecisions on the part of the attackers made it easier for the Mfantseman defenders to clear their lines.

Mfantseman United pushed for equaliser in the early stages with a fine strike but Aims’ goalkeeper was up to task.

Thereafter, Aims took over the game, put pressure on Mfantseman United and created more chances but none of these could result in another goal.

This victory takes Aims to the top of the table with 21 points after 9 games whiles Mfantseman occupies the second position with 20 points after 10 games.

Aims Soccer Academy travels to Ekumfi Gyinakoma to take on Ekumfi United on Thursday in the last game of the first round. A victory for Aims will extend their lead to 4 points.
