Media should Place Much Emphasis on Culture: Mr Addison

The founder for Addison International Centre for Emotional Intelligence, Mr James Kwesi Addison has admonished media personnel and organisations to churn much of their energies in promoting the Ghanaian culture.

He made this pronouncement during the Matriculation of the first batch of students and Commissioning of the Practicals studio of De-Saint Multimedia Institute on Saturday, July 3 at Enyan-Maim in Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region of Ghana.

He stressed that our chiefs have played instrumental role in the past to ensure peaceful coexistence between people in the community. “When a matter is taken to the palace, the chief would use his authority to take over the matter. This is what is called alternative resolution. But what do we see today? We have packaged it in other way where people have to pay for it”, he asserted.

The manager of the De-Saint Consult and the administrator for De-Saint Multimedia Institute, Mr Vincent Kweku Afriyie on his part assured the general public on the institute’s preparedness to meet the challenges of today’s media through their courses. ” Nana Chairman, De-Saint Consult is here to solve the challenges of today, including the media. The team of professionals assembled for the training of our students is indication that we are committed to our solving the problems of today’s media”, he said.

The institute operates under De-Saint Consult, a registered business entity which has the mandate to undertake skills development training and engage in other businesses in the media fraternity.

I Trust Him: He Can Fix Ghana If He Becomes The President – Mike Oquaye Reveals

It Is Her Right: She Is A Ghanaian – NPP’s Kate Gyamfua Demands Justice Over Burnt Excavators

It Is Her Right: She Is A Ghanaian - NPP’s Kate Gyamfua Demands Justice Over Burnt Excavators

Kate Gyamfua, the National Women’s Organiser of the governing NPP has vowed to seek legal redress over the burning of her excavators and other mining equipment by members of ‘Operation Halt’.

Her spokesperson, Ernest Yaw Kumi told Adom FM that, the action by the officials deployed to clamp down on galamsey activities is in breach of laws governing the mining sector and also in contravention of directives issued by the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor.

Madam Kate Gyamfua will use all legal means to defend her right and her company as a citizen,” said Yaw Kumi.

He said they are willing to engage government and responsible sector ministers to ensure the right thing is done.

Members of ‘Operation Halt’, a military task force on Sunday, May 16, 2021, raided some mining sites in Larbikrom, Dompem and Pamen, all in the Atiwa District of the Eastern Region.

As part of the raid, they destroyed over 20 excavators while other mining equipment was set on fire as part of efforts to crack down on illegal mining in the Eastern Region. Now You Can Practice Chinese Kung Fu At Homeshine.cnby TaboolaSponsored Links

Kumi insisted Kate Gyamfua’s Xtra Gold Mining Limited has not been involved in illegal mining activities.

He noted, the military task force destroyed 9 excavators and 1 washing plant that belonged to Xtra Gold Mining Limited adding that Xtra Gold Mining is a large-scale mining operator and has the necessary documentation to prove it.

Meanwhile, Kennedy Agyapong, the Assin Central MP, has alleged that a number of top government and NPP officials are involved in galamsey.

“I pity President Akufo Addo because, for this fight, if the president doesn’t clean his house, we will not win. If you see the number of top NPP officials involved in galamsey whom I tried to fight and lost, you’d be shocked,” Kennedy Agyapong said on Net 2 TV recently.

The vociferous MP also supported the burning of excavators seized, indicating that “they [military task force] have to burn the excavators or some will go and sell them in Cote D’Ivoire, if not then give them back to their owners”, Agyapong said.

He continued, “I know a lot of MCEs who are involved. President Akufo-Addo, you have to clean your house first; if not we will never win the fight.

“The NDC are also involved. I have said this and if anyone challenges me, I will mention names because they are sabotaging the president.”

Social media commentator Twene Jonas has blasted Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu after he said that he knew people who are engaged in Galamsey.

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu in an event held in Ashanti Region said that he knows about 30% of people who are currently in this event engaging in Galamsey.

According to him, we know the people who are engaging but have failed to stop them.

In a video shared on his Facebook page, Twene Jonas blasted the Asantehene very well.

According to him, any chief who talks or complains about Galamsey is a “Big Fool” because they are very much aware and know the people.

He added that these same chiefs were the ones who gave their lands freely out to people to do

God is completely enigmatic, and nothing is difficult for him to do. He wields all authority in heaven and on earth, including the power of witches and wizards.

God is completely enigmatic, and nothing is difficult for him to do. He wields all authority in heaven and on earth, including the power of witches and wizards. He has the ability to change your life in the blink of an eye. A news surfaced a few years ago about a building collapsing and burying a mother and her child. Sadly, the mother passed away.

The entire collapsed building had to be evacuated for several weeks before the kid could be discovered. The mother was absolutely rotten when they arrived at the child, but the child recounted how a man used to come and wake his mother up so that she could breastfeed him even though he was old enough to stop.

That’s how he’d managed to stay alive until then.

This photograph depicts a one-year-and-a-half-old boy who was picked up by soldiers in the Sambisa forest.

Soldiers discovered the boy crawling in the bush. They assumed he had been set up by someone to trap them.

They searched the bush but found no one.

So they would sometimes see the child crawling into a large hole after he had played and was exhausted and hungry.

They walked slowly behind him as he walked into the hole. When the soldiers peered into the opening, they discovered a dead woman. The body was rotten from the neck to the knees, but not from the stomach to the head. So, when the child is tired, he will crawl into the pit, and when he is hungry, he will suck the breast and emerge when he is satisfied.
